Rosie Huntington-Whiteley caught my eye strolling around LA in an easy-chic look that's incidentally ideal for the weekend ahead. Olive-hued skinnies ($215) are a nice alternative to your go-to denim; then top with a cozy knit, like Rosie's textured basketweave sweater ($325), and finish with a fedora to keep things casual, but still cool. i live for dressing on the weekends. i find it hard to bring my 'real' style to the workplace. so i usually run around monday through friday in the classics. cardigans, button downs, high waisted trousers, flats, black sheaths and tights/boots combo. when the weekend comes out i love the highest heels, the biggest furs, and the most envious of party curls.
i know for a fact that i could get away with emulating kelly's style above at my job - i just don't think i'm brave enough! not that her look is corporate - no no no - it's just perfectly put together. not rough around the edges like so many styles i see on fashion blogs. she is polished to perfection. tailored and clothed to perfection. adore it. i really need a leopard jacked in my life!
I love everything about this. I can't wait to have a home with hardwood floors again. Still obsessed with neutral interiors. and clothes. can you tell?
Alexander Wang’s Alla this is not, but it is a damn good replica, and soon it will be mine. Take a tip from FrED and purchase the Yanelli wedge by Nina here. Joplin, Missouri, isn’t the first place one considers when one thinks of fashion, but Sophie makes every effort to remedy that. Owner Ashley Rush Wakefield wrote the boutique’s business plan as a project for her college merchandising degree and opened up shop to bring that plan to action. I pop in every time I’m in town and always leave lusting after a full wardrobe of shoes, bags, and baubles. Click here for Ashley’s story.
How fun would these pants be to wear? I love the idea and have seen countless bloggers rock similar styles. For a mid-western chick like me they just won't fly!
You know when you get so excited about something you're doing at work that you have to immediately go gush to your boss and she takes you in and tells you how proud of you she is. Well, I'm guessing most of you don't get to do that, because you don't work for the wonderful company that I do. With an open door policy, a one more drink is always better rule, and the idea that we are all equals (read: not separated by a hierarchy or title). At our Christmas party I even attempted to "Ice" our regional sales manager. It's a great place to work and I'm so thankful that I've been given this crazy opportunity to have so much friggin' responsibility. I don't know how I was chosen, but for some reason they saw something in my that I'm still trying to find in myself. Days like this make me passionate about the work I do, and so thankful that I'm able to work in media heavy environment. Clients can get crazy and deals can fall through, but at the end of the day I work with the most kind people on this planet.
Totally gushing. Totally having a great day.
Especially after finding this picture on http://katrina.nonsociety.com/. Oscar makes me happy - so does fur. This is just stunning. I would sleep in this, a robe of envy, and dead animal. love.
Blowing kisses your way! I know you need them because of all the snow and slush your dragging your poor feet through. Unless you're my lovely friends in Arizona and Florida...and you too in California. Lets pretend the lighting and my face aren't so scary looking. I'm all bundled up in my favorite pashmina, h&m cardigan (it has sequin pockets) and J.crew necklace! It's one of THOSE hair days! Lots to do at work - craziness ensues.
On a prettier note! Let's indulge in some Nicole Richie and Olivia P. Stunnnnnerz.
